Saved sessions privacy
Updated October 3, 2026
This notice covers Scoreboard account-backed sessions and the Scoreboard ChatGPT plugin, operated by Tihomir Videnov. The classic web and iOS privacy policy covers the separate classic app.
What is stored
Firebase Authentication processes your email, password credentials and verification status. The server stores a user identifier, session and team names, colours, scores, rounds, timer state, history, membership permissions and sharing records. Passwords are sent to Firebase for authentication and are not stored in our application database. Do not put sensitive personal information in team or game names.
How data is used and shared
We use this information to sign you in, save games, enforce permissions, prevent duplicate scores and abuse, and provide sharing. Google Firebase processes authentication and database records; Vercel hosts the application and may process operational logs and connection information. When you connect ChatGPT, OpenAI receives the tool inputs and results needed to carry out your requests and show your scoreboard, along with your account identifier, email and verification status for account linking, under its own policies. The plugin does not receive unrelated conversations, and it does not send each scoring click to a model.
Anyone holding a spectator link can see the game name, teams, scores, rounds and activity until the link expires or is revoked. A scorer invitation grants a signed-in recipient editing access to that game. Revoking the invitation after it is used does not remove an existing member; remove the member in Share settings. A recipient can retain what they have already seen.
Cookies and analytics
An essential, secure session cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days. OAuth connection tokens and rate-limit records support authentication and abuse prevention. This saved-session experience does not add advertising or product analytics cookies.
Retention and deletion
Saved games remain until you delete your account or request removal through support. In Account settings, you can permanently delete your account and all sessions you own, including history and share links. Your membership in games owned by others is removed; their game scores and activity history remain, including internal contributor identifiers attached to those records. Your account connections stop working when deletion begins. If interrupted, return to Account settings to resume deletion.
A minimal deletion marker containing the user identifier becomes eligible for removal after 90 days and is removed by the next successful daily cleanup. Expired authentication and rate-limit records are also removed by that cleanup. Provider logs and any backup copies follow the provider and deployment retention settings; deletion from the active application does not promise instantaneous removal from such copies. Disconnecting the plugin in ChatGPT alone does not delete your Scoreboard account.
Your choices and contact
Use account settings for deletion, Share settings to revoke access, and the sign-in screen to reset a password. Contact tihomirvidenov@gmail.com for access, correction, export, deletion questions or other privacy requests. We may need to verify account ownership. This service is not intended for children under 13.
